1 Your team
Add jersey numbers and the diagrams show them instead of letters, so every kid can find their own circle. Leave a spot empty to keep the letter.
2 Pick your plays
Not sure which plays to pick? Start from a practice plan: each one teaches a small set of plays, and its "Print these plays" button adds them all here at once.
Want your own? Draw a play in the designer and it shows up here first.

How to use wristband cards
Print on regular paper, cut out each card, and slide it into a 3-window QB wristband (the kind with a clear plastic window). The coach calls a number, and every player looks at the same diagram. Cards fit up to 8 plays.
How to build a playbook in 10 minutes
- Pick 4 to 6 plays, not 20. A young team runs four plays well before it runs ten plays badly. Take one or two runs, two or three passes, and one trick play for later in the season.
- Tap them in the order you want to call them. The first play you tap is number 1 on the wristband. Put your best play at number 1 so it is the easiest one to call.
- Add jersey numbers. Kids look for their own number faster than a letter. A player who can find their circle knows where to line up.
- Print both layouts. Wristband cards for the players, and the full playbook for you and your assistant coach, with each play's first read written under the diagram.
Playbook builder questions
Is it free, and do I need an account?
It is free and there is no account. Your team name, jersey numbers and picks are remembered in this browser, and the page address holds your picks and jersey numbers, so you can bookmark it or send it to an assistant coach. Plays you drew yourself only show up in the browser where you saved them. Use a share link from the designer to move them.
What size are the wristband cards?
They are made for a 3-window QB wristband. Wristband windows are not all the same size, so print one test page, hold a card up to the window and trim if you need to.
How many plays fit on a wristband?
The wristband cards fit your first 8 plays. The full playbook layout prints every play you picked.
Can I put my own plays in the playbook?
Yes. Draw and save a play in the play designer and it appears at the top of step 2 marked "Mine", ready to add like any other play.
